Can multiple Mounjaro® (tirzepatide) doses be combined to make a larger dose?
Combining doses is not recommended for tirzepatide because each presentation has been designed and tested to deliver a prespecified dose.

Can tirzepatide doses be combined into a single larger injection?
The MOUNJARO USPI does not provide instructions for delivering a dose more than the full fixed dose. Please follow the MOUNJARO USPI for instructions on proper storage, handling, and administration of tirzepatide.
Eli Lilly and Company cannot make any recommendations on combining multiple doses of tirzepatide as this has not been studied. Each presentation has been designed and tested to deliver pre-specified dose(s) as described in the Mounjaro prescribing information.
Lilly has not studied any combination of tirzepatide smaller doses to make a larger dose either as separate injections or as a larger single injection. Therefore, there is no efficacy and safety information available on this topic.
