Can Zepbound® (tirzepatide) be used in patients with lipedema?
No efficacy or safety data are available for tirzepatide use in lipedema as it has not been studied by Lilly. Lipedema was not an exclusion in SURMOUNT trials, but no subanalyses were done to confirm outcomes for these patients.
