Tirzepatide should be injected subcutaneously in the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm. Eli Lilly and Company has no clinical information regarding injecting tirzepatide in other locations.

What Happens When or if a Patient Injects Mounjaro® (tirzepatide) in the Wrong Location?
Tirzepatide should be injected under the skin (subcutaneously) of your stomach (abdomen), thigh, or upper arm.1,2
Do not inject tirzepatide into a muscle (intramuscularly) or vein (intravenously).2
Eli Lilly and Company has no clinical information regarding injecting tirzepatide in other locations.
