Why was a tablet form of Foundayo™ (orforglipron) commercialized in the United States when the clinical trials used a capsule form?
Eli Lilly and Company chose to commercialize the tablet formulation for its practical advantages: smaller size, standardized manufacturing, and the ability to support a reliable global supply.
See important safety information, including boxed warning, in the attached prescribing information.
