Abasaglar contains inactive ingredients as listed below. It is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.

Abasaglar contains:

  • Zinc oxide
  • Metacresol
  • Glycerol
  • Hydrochloric acid (for pH adjustment)
  • Sodium hydroxide (for pH adjustment), and
  • Water for injections.1
